About Menol Spices

Menol Spices is a Belfast-based family business with Hungarian roots. For more than ten years we have done one thing well: bringing true Hungarian paprika — and the pantry staples built around it — from the Szeged region of Hungary directly to kitchens across the UK, Europe and North America.

Real Hungarian paprika, from origin

Our paprika is grown and processed in the Szeged region, Hungary's historic paprika country. It is stone-ground in small batches through the year in a slow, low-temperature milling process that protects the natural oils — that is why the powder is deep red, intensely aromatic and never bitter. Every pouch is 100% paprika: the flesh of the paprika fruit and nothing else. No colourants, no anti-caking agents, no fillers.

What we make

Sweet, hot, smoked sweet and smoked hot paprika in aroma-sealed pouches from 100g to 1kg; a 4×100g tasting set of all four flavours; large refill pouches — the same premium paprika in simpler packaging at a better price per gram; and our Hungarian garlic paste, goulash paste and low-salt vegetable stock powder, made with real ingredients and no MSG.

How we work

We keep the chain short: one trusted producer in Hungary, our own warehouse in Belfast, and Royal Mail Tracked delivery to your door. Orders ship the same working day when placed before midday. If anything is not right, returns are free for 30 days — we send a prepaid label, no questions asked.
