Lovely flavour
Beautiful flavour
Made Hungarian Goulash in the slow cooker, this paste added the perfect blend of spices. Also added 1/8 teaspoon into tinned tomatoes just to give it a kick.

Frequently asked questions
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship from our Belfast warehouse with Royal Mail Tracked. UK delivery typically takes 2–3 working days, EU delivery about 5–8 working days, and USA or Canada 1–2 weeks. Delivery is free above the order value shown on this page.
What is the difference between sweet, hot and smoked paprika?
Sweet paprika (édesnemes) gives the full paprika flavour and deep red colour with no heat — it is the everyday choice for goulash and stews. Hot paprika adds genuine chilli warmth on top of that flavour. The smoked versions are slowly smoked for a rich, barbecue-like depth — many customers blend sweet and smoked about half and half.
How much paprika do I need for a goulash?
A good rule of thumb is one tablespoon of sweet Hungarian paprika per person. For a pot serving four, use 3–4 tablespoons, added off the heat so the paprika does not scorch.
How fresh is the paprika and how should I store it?
Our paprika is grown and cold-milled in the Szeged region of Hungary in small batches through the year — a gentle, exceptionally cool pneumatic milling that never scorches the powder — then sealed in aroma-protective pouches. Store it airtight, cool and away from light, and use within 6–12 months of opening for the fullest flavour and colour.
How does the multi-buy discount work?
The discount applies automatically in your cart: 2 items save 5%, 3 items save 8%, and 4 or more items save 10%. You can mix any flavours of 100g and 200g pouches, 250g and 500g value pouches, pastes and stock powder. 1kg sizes and the 4×100g set are excluded because they are already value-priced.
